Founded in 1980 by Richard Dove, in addtion to its Aldershot venue Osaka now has three satellite clubs: Hawley, Frogmore and Courtmoor.
Judo Club Osaka is a member club of the British Judo Association (club number 150). |

| Big Turnout for First Obi Event of 2010 |
Today 62 players from Osaka got together for the latest intra-club Obi Event at Connaught Leisure Centre. The club ran the event across two mats for the first time to speed things up a little and a good time was had by all.

Everyone earned points towards the next coloured belt for their Obi man and many received that next coloured belt. Congratulations to Martha Galilee who became the first player at the club to receive a black belt for her Obi man.

| Alex Jones selected to represent England at the 2010 Commonwealth Judo Tournament |
Following his success at the England Selections on 12 December, Alex Jones will be representing England at both Youth and Senior level (U60kg) at the 2010 Commonwealth Championships to be held in Singapore 9-10 January.

| Three from Osaka selected to join England Talent Development Squad |
Following their earlier selection to the England Squad and after a fitness assessment session in Sheffield, Aidan Jones, Austin Jones and Natasha Stevens have been selected to join the England Talent Development Squad for 2009/10.
